Update stuck at 3.91GB

Hi i would like to ask for help and enlightenment regarding my problem. I recently reinstall the game and i just finished the 28GB for the game. Now apex need the latest updates for me to play and so i update it but the problem was while updating, it seems to be stuck when it hits 3.91GB and just says preparing. The pause button is disabled as well so i can't seems to pause the update and the only choice it to restart the client. Unfortunately after i restart, it would do the same thing and get stuck at 3.91GB and says preparing. I've been waiting for it to progress for an hour now but still no progress whatsoever. Is there a manual updates that i can download instead?
