Unable to switch to a secondary monitor

★★★ Novice

I have two monitors like a lot of people these days. Apex though will ONLY play on my main display. With battlefield I put it from 4k to 2k, by just selecting monitor 2... then I'll be able to play my FPS games on a 2k 144hz monitor. It works great! But Apex doesn't do this. No matter what I do, it will always snap back to my main 4k display. Either add an option to select what display you want or allow an annoying put it to windowed drag it to the 2nd monitor and put it to full screen.. Please!

  1. Set the display mode to Borderless Window
  2. Use Win+Shift+Left/Right arrow to change displays.

Same,

I have a 1440p primary monitor and a 1080p 240hz gaming monitor. I need to be able to switch the game over to my 2nd monitor to play.

Thanks!

Don't even use this but wanted to help out. I have the same setup but you gotta the game to steam as a non steam game, then run it through big picture. In big picture modem go to settings and display and make sure the target monitor is the one you want to play on. If it is but still doesn't open up, change it to the monitor you don;t want to play on then change it back to the monitor you do want to play on. Big picture should open up on the monitor you want to play on. There you go. I have been trying to find another way but haven't, this work fine. As for the resolution, make it borderless windowed or whatever you want but its not as messed up as it looks when you first load it up.

Same issue, I'd be nice if we could easily switch from one monitor to the other

Easiest fix I found was to just go into display settings and change your main display to the one that you would like to play on. That's how I did it.

There is no option for it in Apex Legends.

You have to do display settings on the monitor by right clicking

When it did that last week, it didn't work for me. It still snapped back to my 4k monitor. :/
