Unable to retire more sims in Sims Mobile

[ Edited ]

I've reached level 16, where the retirement option has become available. However, after I retired one of my sims, the option of retirement has been blocked for my sims's husband who also has maxed out traits and has the 'ready to retire' option. But it still won't let me retire him. I have also moved out all of their adult children, so there should be enough room in the household, but it still doesn't work. Is this a glitch/bug? If not, how can I fix it?

Thank you!
Although I've been able to retire sims in my game, as well as move them out once they've been retired, there is one sim ("Aria Barbour") that would not leave under any circumstances. She was a non-playing sim, and she retired automatically once I retired her husband, one of my playing sims. I have moved both of them out of the house, however, she would not leave. She doesn't even appear in the "Generation 2 Family Photo".

Is this because she just married into the family? Or is this a glitch? And do you have any way for me to actually have her move out?

Hi @lexismontilla,

Thanks for the detailed description of the problem!

If I understand correctly, she was retired automatically when her husband retired, but she didn't move out as well, right? You had to tap on her to ask her to move out (even if she didn't listen).

Would it be possible for you to share your player ID with us? This would be helpful for the team to check the issue. You can get your player ID easily as explained here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Game-Information/Guide-How-to-find-your-player-ID-in-The-Sims-Mobile/td-p/...

Thank you!

That's correct, her husband was one of the sims I controlled, while she was not. When he retired, she automatically retired alongside him. I manually moved both of them out of the house, however, she just doesn't leave.

They are both removed out of the current family photo, but only her husband is shown in the "Generation 2" part of the photos, while she is missing in it overall.

My player ID is: 1003307953081

Please help me, as much as I love her, she is becoming a little bit of a nuisance Frown

Hi again @lexismontilla,

As we have released a couple updates for the game and some fixes, I would like to check with you on this again - any changes with Aria?

Thanks again,
-Mai

Unfortunately, no there hasn't been much improvement at all with Aria. She seems to have disappeared altogether. She's unavailable for socialising and I can't find her in my generation photos. In fact, the generation photos have gotten worse. It seems to have split up the siblings and their spouses from Generation 2 into different Generation photos (eg. Generation 3, Generation 4 etc)

Also as i retired My first one i promoted My adult daughter to be playable so now it’s the husband of the retired girl and their daughter which are the two playable sims. The husband and daughter
