I am experiencing a similar issue with all of my sims. It happened when I made the additional house purchase.

Im experiencing the same issue. I have 2 unplayable sims that im not able to remove or retire from the house. Is your issue fixed? I thought if i had uninstall and reinstall it would work but it didnt. And after so many updates it is still not fixed.
