The mouse does not sync into game so you cannot change your look angle and your mouse just flickers in the middle of the screen.

If you have your discord overlay active, disable it. That worked for me.

I am gettting this one too! No Idea why its happening

Same issue. No clue what the issue is. Verified game files and nothing. Trying to reinstall to see if that helps.

It would be great to have some understanding why this is happening. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, that didn't work...

Mouse buttons work, however aiming with the mouse does not. Tried alt-tabbing, changing full screen (alt+enter) etc, tried without discord or with overlay disabled, but nothing seem to affect it. It would seem that "imaginary" controller holds the aiming functionality and the mouse aiming is simply disabled/inactive

Can confirm, disable the discord overlay for this game and then restart it. You'll have to play without the overlay but that's not the end of the world.

Thank you, @Johnnybgsxr . Hopefully some others can come back confirming that helps.
I found some potential solutions on our Answers HQ on this. While it might not be under Apex Legends the steps might work for multiple games.

I've been doing everything I thought of and for once I was able to play - played the game without alt-tabbing a single time and the mouse did not appear this time - was able to control aiming with mouse. I played with Discord Overlay turned on. So Discord wasn't the root cause it seems (at least for me). Didn't have time to fault-test it if alt-tabbing would make the issue reappear, will do that another day.
