Unable to connect to EA servers..

This happened after the update as well but I was able to get it working by restarting the game a couple times but it doesn't seem to work now. I'm stuck in the loading screen with a error message saying "unable to connect to EA servers. Please check your internet connection, make sure Origin is online and try again" . Obviously my internet is working as intended so does anyone know a way to fix this so I can go back to being depressed at my random teammates and hopefully get a skin from the event? Thanks

Yeh same here, seems to be at least a uk problem on the ps4, possibly parts of Europe aswell... But no info from ea anywhere...
