UMCD Lag on PC

In the past month or so, I’ve been getting incessant UMCD lag icons and it is literally freezing discord and even my computer audio. 

I can play either the steam or EA launcher version, still the same thing 

fresh windows installation and still the same issues.

rearranged my USBs by plugging peripherals into different USB ports. 

downgraded graphics drivers 

upgraded graphics drivers

nothing I do helps. 

please help me.
