UI Update stuck

Hey guys !

It's been now 4 hours I've been trying to download the " UI uptade " & it's stuck at 50%.. I tried the repair tool, I launched both Origin & BF V as administrator, I disabled my Windows Defender but no sh*t is happening..

Any idea ?

Have you tried the following steps?

1. Clear Origin Cache: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

2. Manually Uninstall Origin: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/

Once you've done these, fully close out of Origin, and re-launch.

Try these, and let us know if the update is still stuck.

How long have you waited before quitting out of the game?  I know when I had a UI update this last Thursday or Friday, it took about 4-5min for mine to install vs the usual 20-30sec.

Thanks for your answers. I'm currently reinstalling Origin to try your idea. I'll tell you if it works asap.

I waited 3hours during 20 mins it was stuck at 0% ans then it jumped to 50%. I was like " oh it's just a little graphic issue ". But yea, was stucked at 50% for the next 2h30 until I decided to stop it.

By the way, when I check on my task manager, BFV is only using 0.12 ko/sec. Pretty weird I guess.

Ok, let us know if it is still stuck.  @iluminatethesky's steps are more of a fix for the game download sticking, not the internal UI update, so Im assuming he just misunderstood the type of update that was sticking.

Yep that's the IG download that is the problem ( as you can see here ).

I'll let the download running during the night & tell you what are the news. Thanks for your help !

Soooo, cleaning Origin & unistall it worked perfectly, I just downloaded the IG update in like 2sec.

My problem is solved.

It was the antivirus that blocked.

I had to deactivate it.
