UE4-Mariner - Game Crashing when Loading - PC

[ Edited ]

Rocket Arena is crashing while loading, after the screen that says "click any button to continue"

I've already done the following

  1. updated gfx drivers
  2. repaired game
  3. uninstalled, reinstalled game
  4. cleared game cache
  5. cleared origin cache
  6. run as admin
  7. disabled firewall and virus protection
  8. restarted computer (yes it's plugged into the internet)

Let me know if there are any other potential fixes. thanks.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for all the reports and information you have given so far!

While we are investigating it further we need some more information.

Can you also test this out:

  • Go to Origin advanced launch options under Game Properties in Origin.
  • image.png
    • -fullscreen Launches the game in exclusive fullscreen mode.
    • -window Launches the game in windowed mode. Use with-noborder to launch the game in borderless fullscreen.

Update: Accepting the post to highlight the information we need.

Thanks again!

@dabientoe Hey there! Thanks for letting me know the steps you've tried already. Could you please also try removing the Rocket Arena folder from your Documents folder, then turn off Origin Cloud sync for Rocket Arena (This should clear any settings that may potentially be causing issues) and then try launching the game.

If you could also try loading the game on a new Windows user profile with administrator privileges and see if that makes a difference.

As you're on PC would you also please attach a DXDiag report so that we can look into this a bit further, thanks!
