Trying to become subscriber

been waiting since like 3pm est for a verification code to be sent. I made a new account today so my son and I no longer have to share accounts but I cant subscribe because of this email, i have tried like 5 times what is the hold up for something that should be automated

If the email has been used before for an EA / Origin or swtor account it is best to try a email never used with an account and see if that solves the issue.
