Time setting change not saved

★★ Novice

I change my daily actives reset from 2:00am to 1:00am, but after the game restarted it still shows 2:00am. Can someone please fix this for me?

Hi @Silvertag1

I'm so sorry for any confusion over my post. When I said "two allotted timeslot changes" I was referring to the amount of times players can make changes to their rewards payout per year. You will have the option to change your payout timeslot twice per year (365 days) from your own account in-game. Saying that, it's impossible to choose the time you're currently set too. It just can't be done, the button is greyed out and won't let you do this.

We wouldn't have visibility on your account to check into this on the forum which was why I referred you to the support team. I'm not sure why you received that response but leave it with me. I'll see if I can learn more about what's happening for you.

Hey @Silvertag1, could you confirm if I have this right? You've used one of your reward payout changes to move your payout timeslot but for some reason, the timeslot hasn't changed yet it's consumed one of your two allotted timeslot changes per year? If that's the case Silvertag1, you would need to get in contact with the EA Help Support line asap so they can take a look into this for you. We'll need to take a look into your account. Please jot down your Player ID or Ally Code and follow the steps in this EA Help article to contact a support agent.

Lanna,

i did contact EA Help Support by creating a ticket through the game.  (47474162) This was the response I received.

It is informed to you that the timezone can be reset only once after the previous updates,.

if you have any other concern please let us know.

Still need help? You can reach us on help.ea.com .

Rajat B.
EA Help

So basically I was told I only get 1 reset per year, instead of two.  That is terrible customer service. Like Comcast level terrible. So are you giving me misinformation that I get two resets, or is the help support just not interested in actually helping?

Hey @Silvertag1, I followed up with support and a specialist took a look into this.

What has happened here is you changed your reward payout time during Daylight Savings Time (10th of March). The clocks moved forward at midnight on the 10th. So you did put it back an hour - the payout on the 10th was listed as 1.00am - but when midnight struck and the clocks moved forward an hour, 1.00am became 2.00am. In order to account for DST and to have your payout set to 1.00am after the 10th, you would have needed to put the time slot back 2 hours instead of 1 hour. Frown

Unfortunately, you won't have an option to change this yet as there is a two change maximum limit on altering the reward payout time slot per 365 days. I did ask when you'd have the option in-game again and as you're first change happened around mid-June last year, come mid-June this year you should have one time slot change free to move the payout time. For now though the reward payout can't be changed and is set for 2.00am.
