I'll give it a go in about an hour when i'm done downloading.

Update:
No success. I get a little farther, but still crash regularly. I start the campaign and can fly around a bit in the first room, but always crash before i can leave.

Adding to this thread.
Game continues to crash randomly.
I have done everything these forums have suggested to do.
I even did a full OS reinstall and hard drive reformat.
Nvidia Driver update failed as well.
Vertical Sync both on and off.
Direct X12 disabled.
Graphics tweaked both high and low.
CPU temp is good.
No RAM leaks.
Origin and Battlefront 2 ran as Admin and not run as admin.
Crashes while offline, and online. During Multiplayer and Arcade.
CPU however does go into overdrive when the game is launched.

Same issue here, I've tried everything suggested and wasted a ton of time. GTX 1080, windows 10 x64 with all the latest drivers. I hope this gets sorted out in a patch soon. This is pretty frustrating.

I have got same issue. Buyed the game just yesterday, and played it without any problem. But today, if i start any of soldier mission, arcade, multi, even tutorial its going to crash without an error message. If i play space battle, it works perfectly. I dont understand.

I have the same card as you (Nvidia 840m), hooked up to a 32in monitor playing in 1080p at high settings, honestly system requirements mean nothing.
