The game's fps got worse after a restart

At first it worked fine with medium settings, i logged out to update my nvidia driver but when i logged back in, the fps got worse, the literally ran in 30fps or even worse no matter how i changed my configs, i even tried redownloading but didn't work either.

Which nvidia driver did you install? Nvidia graphic is know for this issue where a driver update significantly reduces fps.. Can you revert back to the driver which you were using and check if it works again like before
