The game is unplayable after the TLJ patch. Constant stuttering and freezing

Well, I guess I found a solution, at least for me. I was experiencing stuttering that let the game unplayable. I tried pretty much everything and nothing solved my problem. Well, 10 minutes ago I downgraded my NVIDIA's driver to 388.31 (Battlefront's version) and the stuttering is almost gone now. I still have it, but now the game is playable... hope this help you guys.

Strange enough...

Today I installed AMD Radeon Adrenalin Software 18.3.2 because it contains some performance fixes for PUBG. Reading about the spring update I thought about giving SW BF2 another try. So I did, I reinstalled the game and was suprised that it's running without CTD and massive stutters. Only minor stutters in the first few seconds of a new map. 

I couldn't believe, so I rebooted a couple of times and tried different game variants and maps. Still no issues but the minor stutters in the beginning of a map.

Seems like they did something at least ?  

System Specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 1700 @3725Mhz allcore

ASUS Prime B350-Plus

G.Skill FlareX DDR4 3200CL14 16GB (2x8)

Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon RX470 8GB

WD and SanDisk SSDs, game is installed on SSD

Windows 10 Home 64bit  1709 all updates up to date.

Game Settings:

Everything maxed out (ultra), HDR on, DX12 off, borderless.

Runs with 90-120FPS @FullHD depending on map and mode.

I had 5 days or so with little issues. 3 crashes in 10+ hours of game play. Not bad for my avg of 5 a night. Well ,being stable was awesome, I'm playing a game I played money for. Tonight, 4 crashes in 20 -30 minutes. How is this game so unstable? It has to be their servers. I lag and freeze so much. My internet is great. It is 100% on EA. No doubt. Let's see what breaks on Weds patch. Hopefully they fix that garbage gun DC15le. So many dumb dumbs play and exploit for over a month. Can't believe a hot fix was issued after a week.

Just played the main campaign for the first time since day 2: 50-60 fps and constant stuttering. I am talking about 1-3 seconds of frozen game.

In multi I have experienced stuttering too, I remember I was able to snipe at the beginning of Theed in the beta and main game in November. Since December every first minute on every tps map is unplayable.

Ok so my feedback with the last AMD driver 18.3.2 : it's a little better but still absolutely not perfect. The stuttering are still here but they last shorter. The first spawn always end by a death. I've been killed by a running melee specialist with his shield 3 sec after I've gained control of my character. You can imagine the time it takes...

And obviously, the lasers, light saber, shield, etc... are still gone when I use the crossfire.

This game will never be fixed I think.

Tomorrow , big update with 2.0 update , I really hope this update will finally solve this problem....
