The Sims Mobile never gets enough space

★★★ Newbie

For a while I've been low on space on my phone, but when I managed to get it over 200mb free, The Sims Mobile would run without issues.

Today I got it to about 400mb free and the game said something like "More Space Needed. Please have at least 100mb free", so I freed some more space and got it to over 500 mb. Still not working. I reinstalled The Sims, now with about 900mb of space free. The game still won't let me play. I have no ideas left.

Is there a reason to have so much space taken? It's good to regularly take some stuff off of your phone.

Are you on an Apple or Android device?

Yes, there is. My camera roll takes a considerable amount of space, and for the moment I cannot work that out. I think that 1GB of space is more than enough for any app, though.
I am on an Android 7.0 phone, is there anything I can do to fix this? Seems like freeing up space makes no difference.
