I checked and could not find any other reports on this issue and checked myself and seeing no issues. All I can recommend would be the basics like clear cookies and cache from your browser, try another browser, delete and re-adding your payment methods for both swtor.com and your EA account and then trying again.
If that doesn't work you can contact support either via phone as per here or at support@swtor.com.

Is the page you are seeing a high traffic maintenance page ? have you tried a different web browser as suggested by belgorad
it would be handy to confirm the swtor username too

I recently purchased a 60 Days one time purchase on 24th March 2020. The email for confirmation of purchase came through, and on the website it says 59 days of subscription left, all good so far, however when in game, it displays my current status as preferred status

same issue, the website says I subbed, but the game doesn't recognize it.
**Although, I was able to get passed level 70 today, which I couldn't do earlier. but I still have a credits escrow, can't send in-game ticket, and the launcher sees me as Pref. Status...

if your getting a maintenance message it maybe that there is a purchase block on the linked ea account, to confirm email support@swtor.com and they can assist you i am sure
