Subscribe link uselessly goes to EA site

I am trying to renew my SWTOR subscription.

I have been a SWTOR subscriber before. When I have previously subscribed, the process was easy - now it seems to be an annoying mess.

When I either log in to SWTOR.com and go into my account and try to click on the subscribe link OR I go in game and use the in game link (which takes me to the same place) I get directed to the useless and directionless EA site.

When I search that and Google my problem, I get no help.

Why must it be so hard? It used to be a one click solution.

There has been reported issues with payment yesterday with paypal etc if this is now just redirecting I would presume system has been taken offline whilst they work out what has occured so they can fix this issue.

Recommend try again later it will likely be good to go again

Thought it was just me. Been trying to redeem a code for a while now. The redeem code link loops back to EA site. I bought the code but cant even use it. WTF

Yeah, this EA site is woeful. Useless search function, messy and overly long game list search and no obvious link to what I'm looking for.

Maybe I'll just resub WoW.

This is happening to me too! Trying to subscribe for the first time and I keep getting uselessly sent to EA. 

I ended up purchasing a redeem code from origin because it was the only way I could figure out how to subscribe- but now I can't redeem it because the 

'redeem code' link uselessly loops back to EA.com as well...

...aaaaaand then for no explainable reason... it suddenly changes and works.

Also- trying to redeem the code under my accounts on EA doesn't work- it tells me I need to go to http://www.starwarstheoldrepublic.com/redeem-code.

But when I do that and use the 'Redeem Your Code Now' button on the SWTOR site it just sends me back to EA.com. So frustrating!
