Stuck on Checking for Updates

So I've been waiting for a while hoping that it was client side that I could not access SWGOH at home on my Sky Fibre router. I've been waiting roughly 2 and it occurred to me today after loading into SWGOH on a different Wi-Fi connection that it is more than likely a router issue. Now I've had the router for 2 years with no issues... until recently. Is this an issue you guys are aware of or know how to help with? It used to work perfectly fine but as stated in the last month or two I've had to use cellular or non home Wi-Fi to be able to even access the game.

I'm also stuck at checking for updates screen.  I've tried uninstalling from my phone and reinstalling with same issue.  I was able to play last night but this morning my phone when loading the game is stuck at checking for updates.
