Star Wars: Battlefront 2 - No models or textures ingame and in the menus [ Edited ]

Hello,

I have a major (technical) problem with Star Wars: Battlefront 2. I just finished (re-)downloading the game in preparation for the new update. But after starting the game no models, textures or other graphics load in (see pictures) - neither in the menu nor ingame.

I bought the game on release and played it on this machine (specifications below) for ca. two months until I uninstalled it. Back then it worked flawlessly, my hardware hasn't changed since then and the newest graphics driver is installed. What could be the issue here?

Specifications:

Lenovo Y910 Laptop
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6820HK CPU @ 2.70GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
32 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

I already tried to repair the game via Origin, delete the Settings documents in My Documents and tried several settings (lowest to highest, borderless to fullscreen, dx12 on and off and so on) but nothing helped so far.

Same here, with an gtx 1080 updated drivers and repaired game, I cant see any models or ingame content as you, thinking about to return game after months for the new hero characters, but i  cant even play, what a shame.

If you're still having some trouble with this can you attach a DxDiag and let us know if you're tried anything to fix it? (ex: reinstalling)

I have the exact same issue with a GTX 1070 card as well, any solutions so far?

I know this is an old post but I cannot find anywhere else talking about this?  I just reinstalled BF2 after a couple of years of not playing it and this is the issue I’m having.  Has anyone been able to fix this?

Same issue here and cannot find a working fix...

I upgraded my graphics card to a gti 1070 and this glitch started happening. Been updating drivers and reinstalling the game again and again over the years and still no luck
