St. Louis Server Selection? [ Edited ]

Why does the St. Louis server always connect me to a server near Texas? (See Photo) If I change it to Iowa it connects me to Dallas. I cannot connect to any servers in near Chicago. If I select New York I almost always get New York, same for Dallas, if I select Dallas I almost always get Dallas. London is London, yet for some reason St. Louis and Iowa always connect me to a different location near Texas. Why? Are these not actual server locations or smaller size servers? Don't understand and it really stinks!
