Squadrons Driver Issues

When I try to launch squadrons from steam, I get an error that says something about updating my drivers. I update them, and the error still shows up. I have used the amd clean utility software, and it launches the game. However, it is like 2 fps even on the lowest graphics settings. How might I be able to fix this? 

I am running a Radeon™ RX 580.
