Squad battles - Draft Offline game freezes at halftime

What is your time zone? AGT (BET) - GMT - 3:00
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game FUT mode Squad Battles or FUT Draft Offline
What happens when the bug occurs? From the start of the game there no response to ESC key or Start button to enter pause menu. No response to controller key-pad button No FX sounds like kicking the ball, stopping it, etc Game blocks at half time and it does not respond to any key, waited for more than 30 mins and no repsonse, only way is to close FIFA with alt-f4 or task manager
What should be happening instead? Game respond to all controller buttons, FX sounds be heard, game continue after halftime

Found out the solution to this. Don't know why but this happens because we ran into the match too quickly. Mess around in the previous screens (team selection, shirt selection and options for team management, config, etc). Move your left stick to the sides and up and down on those screens and you'll see this bug doesn't happen again
