Sound cutting off on headphones

Sound cutting off on headphones during game play. I had the issue for months and tried various different troubleshooting but to no avail. I purchased new headphones and have recently switched from Xbox one to Xbox series X. Reduced bass and tried different settings. Tried Adobe atoms, nothing. It seems to be a game issue. The sound gets distorted and just cuts out. Starts going in and out. I restarted the game, the console, and the headset. Please help.

@peligroam What headphones are you using and what form of connection do you have between the headphones and the xbox?

@EzyHawk I previous used different versions of turtle beaches and currently using the new wireless Xbox headset.

Do you notice any lagg or weirdness in game when it happens?
