Sims Mobile NOT WORKING / BUG

When I started the game I realised that I could not tap the right side of the screen.

The game was there but the taps registered far to the left of where I was actually tapping. 
This makes the game unplayable as there are buttons on the right side that I am incapable of pressing.

I have seen other complaints in the Google Play reviews that are similar. Is the game just not compatible with Huawei devices? Can I do anything about this?
