Correct.
I get 10 fps in MP with I7 6770k and gtx 1080.
Its not an issue of cpu or gpu hourspower. Looks like bf5 bug.

Evening,

Thought l'd jump on this thread.

Having similar problems. Where l have decent fps and then the game lags and pauses for a second. Bloody annoying, but cant seem to clear it. Have no issue in any other game l've played. BF4 works fine and the other games l play. Just this one. Did have the same problems in the beta.

Lowered all settings to low and the screen res, but not a sausage.

Running a

I7 6700k

GTX 980Ti

16 gigs of RAM 2666 DDR4

Any ideas, would a new graphics card help?

@EA_Atic I tried clean boot already days ago, and my computer is clean, and I don't use Nvidia Experience since it requires to log in and has a dubious EULA.

And CCleaner has more and more dubious functions so I advise to suggest something else.

@Major_Biggles have you tried it with DX12 on/off?

try dx11 with FFR enabled. this is the best setting for me now.
prior patch FFR was disabled for me and gave me best performance

@EA_Atic

Tried both the clean boot, CC Cleaner and the disable Full screen optimizations, with DX11 and 12. No luck. The frame rate jumps around causing the game to hitch and lag.

I might have found a viable solution. The problem is not your hardware or drivers but the outdated Windows 10 version you are probably running right now.

The recent update brings DXR and other DirectX components necessary to play BFV.  I was running build 1803 until now and had similar issues with framerates around 10-20FPS, after updating to 1809 i get at least 80 up to 140.

You need to install the Windows 10 October update (1809) to play smoothly.

Go to Setting > Update and Security, check your Windows 10 build and search for updates.

If this does not work, you can get the update from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

I am currently on 1803 ( just updating now thanks to your link as Windows was telling me there was no more updates) However, i did ask my brother what version he was on as his works but he is on 1803 also. Hopefully the 1809 build will fix the ones with the problem. will let you know results after updating.

Does your brother have an Nvidia or AMD GPU? From what i read, most people with low FPS were using Nvidia cards.
