@EA_Blueberry This is what I do to up my fps I hope it can help some of you...
Nvidia BF5 settings ....
First step open Nvidia Control panel under 3D settings go to Adjust image settings with preview
Pick use my preference and set it to performance and hit apply.
Next step in game video settings advanced .....
Make sure frame rate limiter is set to 200
future frame rendering- on
vertical sync- off
GPU memory restriction- off
Below set everything to custom or low
Under video Basic ....
motion blur set to 0
To see fps in game with no typing do this....
To see FPS in game with out fraps etc:
1- open note pad
2-put this in the note pad..... perfoverlay.drawfps 1 and Perfoverlay.fpsdisplayscale 4 <<< this can change to 3 or 2 or 1 depending how big or small you want it. 4 is large
3-when you make the user.cfg in notepad, change the file type from text to all. And name it user.cfg
4-Put in .....:\Program Files\Origin Games\Battlefield 5
5-Also close Origin to put cfg in just to be safe :}
6-You will see your FPS in top right of screen when you start BF5
You can also use this page https://esports.exposed/bfv/best-battlefield-v-settings/ and add way more to this config to up your FPS even more see link or see below...

@PureWhiteWitch Thanks for the help, has brought me nothing, unfortunately

Tried all of these and all other settings on and off aswell.. still dropping to 10fpsfrom 80-110fps in map loading/characterscreen, when players load on deploy
No issues in other games.. tried free weekend off CoD: Black OPS 4..Blackout mode,(newest game i tested...) no lag there from what i recall. only played one game tho
Got 5 hours left on trial so, waiting for some other to test. So i can get 5 hours of multiplayer testing before subscribe or buy.
Everything works on DX11.1 in singleplayer in BF V, with what ever settings.

@Grombald Have you tried spectator..... its even worse and i went down to 3 fps
It's so frustrting now, because single player runs nice, the menu is fine and every other part of the UI but as soon as server loads you just watch your fps go dow to round about 10 and just stay there

Ok, i have just origin access not premium access so what i am playing at the moment is the 10 hour trial, which has a different .exe i just thought it maybe something connected to the trial version, but clearly not, like it's not just happening now on Nvidia card's.
