hid.exe turns out that its G.Skills Trident Program for your RGB control for your RAM.
Go to Task Manager, Go to DETAILS, and find that G.Skill logo and it will say hid.exe right next to it. PRESS End Task. and walla! You are all set to go.
If you don't care about RGB on your RAM you might as well as delete that program and save your self an extra work everytime you try to play APEX.

Thanks for posting this. Hopefully this can be resolved on EA's end with a saftware patch in the future because I did chose RGB RAM for a reason.

4/3/2020 And i just upgraded my system, had the same RAM and same issue. Thank god you posted this. i was about to uninstall and reinstall but figured id google it!

just built a new system and ran into this issue. i do not think its fixed unless there is a patch outside of apex i am missing.

This person is a SAINT lol, that's exactly what i needed to do to fix this problem!! I uninstalled and reinstalled that game in different locations like 5 times thinking that was the issue.. CURSE these beautiful sticks of RAM lol but at least i get to play apex now!! THANKSSSS!!!!
