Season 3 - Game hangs randomly after Season 3 patch

Hey, all.

If anyone is freezing at the end of the Legend selection screen can you please provide us a recorded clip we can pass along to Respawn to help aide them on when it exactly happens to players? Any additional help you can provide will go a long way, thanks!

I have been talking with some people in the Apex Legends discord.
When checking in Event viewer the following message is generated.

At the bottom is something that grabs my attention:

[OIG API VIOLATION] Legacy OIG is used, but OIG API is called by the game!
This is probably a configuration issue (enableOriginInGameAPI=1 not used in the manifest or catalog or OriginSDK is not called with ORIGIN_FLAG_ENABLE_IGO_API!)

Freezing Error Apex Legends S3  - Click on the link to play the video.

Can't upload the video here so I uploaded it instead in YT. Sometimes, freezing occurs on the screen before we get to pick legends.

I don't even have anything special,

i5: 6400 

RAM: 12gb

GTX  1060 6gb

but as of the season 3 updates my god man. Since they added the couple of seconds before legend select my game freezes up every first/second game. After that it's fine until I close and open again. I don't have a clip of it but imagine joining a game and it locks up at about 1.02 seconds the first few games before you pick your character, and you have to task manager out and relaunch.

So here's what I did. I tried playing the game, then open the Task Manager. Search for EasyAntiCheat>right click and choose End Task. So far, 10/10 didn't encounter the freezing of the game.

Tried this, still happens when I mouse over the legends quickly in the selection screen.

Yeah. Happened again to me. This is just sad. I don't know what to do anymore. I even tried creating a new account to check if the problem is account bound or not. Still happened on the new one.

I'm still freezing a ton at, on, or just after the hero select screen.

I should note the freezing got really bad when duo mode was initially released. The problem was less frequent but still a few times a night since the release of Season 3 or earlier.
