Screen turns black after Grid TV shows

I am on Xbox Series X and when I join a lobby mid race or start my own lobby, the screen goes black for a few seconds after the Grid TV logo appears, then I can race.

Is this a glitch or is it supposed to be like that?

The reason I ask is cos I also have Legends on PS4 and after Grid TV, it shows a picture of the track I'm about to do with tips at the bottom, but this doesn't show on Xbox and never has since the game came out.

Is the picture of the track with tips supposed to show on Xbox or not?

I don't think anyone else has expereinced your issue, have you got to the bottom of it yet?

@mrusko Not yet. I'm guessing it's supposed to be like that but can't be sure.
