So I got a Google Play $10 gift card from Walmart.com. That’s 75 Rey shards and 750 crystals. I went to Google Play > Account > Rewards and there it was. I pressed redeem. Then it shut down and said “Unfortunately, Google Play has stopped”. Then I went in-game and said I didn’t have anything, I went back to Google Play and it said already redeemed. I called Google and they said call the developer. I asked EA for a callback. At 8:45 they said they would call me in 12 minutes and the called me at 10:30. Then they called and they talked to me for 2 minutes, then had me hold. Hours later I was still holding. I finally hung up and requested a call again at 11:55. They said they would call in 4 minutes. They never called. This morning I requested a callback at 9:10. They called me at 9:40 and again, talked to me for 2 minutes then put me on endless hold AGAIN. Be careful not to fall for this scam!
