Scam or Glitch???

I was finishing the baby quest (I was at that point where you tell your partner or family it’s time to have a baby) and I selected it on my sim’s partner when it said I didn’t have enough energy so I tried to get a cupcake and then it said I needed sim cash so I went to where you earn sim cash and did the “fun 1 minute quiz” and then went back to mobile sims and my progress in the baby quest was gone completely! PLEASE HELP ME IM GOING CRAZY BECAUSE OF THIS!
