SWTOR game won't load after launcher

So I haven't played SWTOR on this computer, its new and I just downloaded the game. I'm running on a 4k laptop if that's the issue. Anyways, the game activates its launch really small in the upper corner of my screen and is extremely fuzzy looking. From there it either freezes in a black box or crashes to windows. I'm on windows 10.

When you press play and it goes small in the upper corner  see if just pressing ALT +Enter keys (may need to press twice) gets things back.

Edit - if that doesn't help edit the client_setting file detailed in this link

I'll have to try that when it finishes patching again.
