SWTOR Launcher stuck after clicking on "LOG IN"

[Saddlebutt]

A few hours ago, everything worked just fine. Came back, logged in... And got stuck logging in. It just keeps displaying the swirly loady icon over and over and over in the launcher. Occasionally it gives a #208 error, but this usually takes 10 minutes, and doesn't always happen.

We have completed the switch to a different ISP, and are showing recovery across all of the West Coast servers. There will still be some trouble connecting as everyone tries to log in at once, but it will clear up soon.

If you're still having problems logging in, back all the way back your desktop and open the Launcher again and attempt to connect.

Same here, not working already 2 hours or so...

I'm having this problem since wednesday now. I cannot log in anymore. I tried all the troubleshooting steps, also downloaded the launcher repair and ran it. The launcher still wants to download something, but is unable to, or just gets stuck. I deactivated the firewall as well, with no success. This is getting ridiculous.

I can download everything else just fine. Just SWTOR doesn't work.

Subscribed since pre-launch, a few days ago my 180 days subscription got payed, which means even canceling my sub is pointless!

I've spent more than 6 hours trying to fix this *. I'm not a happy customer!

Firewall's require updating the exclusions... or actually setting them up.. If you have them double click each one to re-validate them, or if you do not have them; add them as per guide.

I had that problem and the laucher would spin it's blue wheel until I recieve an error message or I stopped it. The way to fix it was easy for me and took less than a minute in command prompt.

I had to :

Open command prompt;

Type : ipconfig /release

Wait for internet to close;

Type : ipconfig /renew

Wait for internet to restart;

Start the launcher and login as usual.
