SWTOR Launcher issues

Over the past few months every other patch I had to do of this game, files got corrupted and I had to repair it. Eventually repairs stopped working when installation after repair got stuck on a certain percentage and the client went completely inactive according to task manager. I tried to run the patch 2 more times with same results. Stuck on 70%, no activity in task manager, couldn't even close the Launcher with the X corner.

When I tried to fix this by reinstalling the game, I wasn't even able to initialize it when I got the unspecified error message. This is easily the most frustrating experience I've ever had with any game's launcher I've used, and I can't believe these issues persist even after 10 years of this game's existence.

I'm seeking any help I can use. Yes, I did attempt to run it through a non-streaming client, as an administrator, when through chkdsk and memtest without any issues. No advice I've found on the internet has given me any results and I'm at a wit's end. I'm currently paying for a game I can't play with any reasonable means, and I don't think this is acceptable in any way. I hope there is a way to resolve this, or if there is not, there are options for a refund.

can you post the latest launcher log is in a log folder if your getting this on streaming and non streaming as they are 2 totally different patch methods

the stuck on 70% two thoughts , no disk space and it halts or the antivirus/firewall has halted the download

Currently trying to reinstall on a streaming client. The stuck on 70% issue was on a non-streaming one.

I also got an error message as soon as I closed the launcher after the failed launch. I have only one real temporary solution, getting rid of Bitraider and reinstalling on a non-streaming client. That usually works but the file corruption and repair issues are guaranteed to repeat after one or two patches. I can't say I want to reinstall the game every 3 or so months, I need a better solution.
