SWBFII Black Screen on startup

I want to talk about something you don't mention above:
How accessible is the current experience? It's useless to me
Summarize what in the product is difficult to use. Doesn't work
How is this making it more difficult? Doesn't Launch
How can we reproduce this experience? Fix the game

I have been trying to fix the black screen I get when launching the game and the only progress I've made is that when I open in compatibility mode with windows 7 or 8 the console will stop flickering but it still doesn't work.

Things I've tried:

1. Graphics Card Update
2. Windows Update (running windows 10)
3. Changing the launch options in the settings of the game to disable x12 and fullscreen then bordered
4. Uninstall
5. Moving .exe files then repairing through the origin client
6. repair the regular game install through the client
7. playing on a restart 
8. Disabling Nvidia and discord overlays
9. deleting the origin %appdata% and %programdata%

Hey @adcaelums  Do you use any overlay programs while trying to start SWBF2? 

Also, have you tried moving the SWBF2 documents folder to the desktop and then try to start SWBF2 and see if that helps?

Hey @adcaelums  Do you use any overlay programs while trying to start SWBF2? 

Also, have you tried moving the SWBF2 documents folder to the desktop and then try to start SWBF2 and see if that helps?

@friendlyhuo Yep, been having the same issue. Pretty sure its because of the update that we just did.

@EA_Atic Yup back for me as well, worked the day before the update, doesn't work after the update, just stuck on a black screen...

the same for me, the entire day, i tried everything, uninstall the game and origin with the Revo Uninstaller, i've tried too fix the game in the library and nothing, the problem keeps

@adcaelums Ive been trying to fix this since I downloaded it at 11 am today its now been 8 hours of me trying to fix it I did 2 fresh installs which did nothing then tried all the *fixes posted on other forums. I hate that this always happens when there's an update
