SW BF2 will not launch, missing settings files and folders

My game will not launch. The launch window pops up quickly and there is no sign of it in task mgr.

I have done a repair install....and there are no SW BF2 files or folders in my Documents folder. No settings files or folders in the main install directory.

Tried running as admin, launching from game folder, updated GPU and other drivers,

can someone confirm the path and contents of the folders and files in my Documents folder? I got a file for settings folder posted here:

And my current path is Documents/Star Wars Battlefront II/Settings. There are no other folders.

Also had a issue starting the game.

Closes directly to the desktop. No sign in the taskmanager of the program.

Done a repair in Origin but no solution.

Looked in the forums and saw a tip to first remove the .exe files in the game directory.

starwarsbattlefrontii.exe  and if it exists starwarsbattlefrontii_trial.exe

(back up the files to be secured)

After removing the .exe files do a repair in Origin and try again.

This fixed it for me.

yoh  .....i got the same problem...idk what to  do  i deleted n installed the game soo many times but I'm playing off origin  ..hmu

@tvec75 To everyone that is having this issue. In my case I have a Monitor with G-Sync Nvidia to run at 144Hz.
I changed my resolution inside the NVidia Control Panel -> Display -> Change Resolution. There I change do the option 1080p (native) and then applied and the game runned ok for me. Try different resolutions to run the game, for me it worked!
