STILL unable to call in Supply Drop / V2 Rockets!! (PS4)

Even after the recent update i still cant use the binos as half the screen goes black (diagonally). I have contacted EA support and followed their advice with no joy. Anyone else still getting this problem or found a solution.

When i restore / reapply for licences i do get this message which is attached but im not sure if it relevant to BFV

I have seen this happen before, so I know what you're talking about.

This is a known issue, and will be fixed with this coming week's Update:

"Players are no longer able to aim down sight with the Squad Reinforcement binoculars which was causing a black mesh to block the player’s view."

This is noted under the "Weapons, Gadgets, and Specializations" section of the Patch Notes, towards the bottom.

Hey @benny4269,

I do not believe that message you get when you Restore the licenses has anything to do with Battlefield V.

However, regarding the other issue, does this happen every Match? Every other Match?

There's another Update coming next week at some point, so hopefully this might be resolved with that Update.

That’s good to hear..... I was a bit concerned as I was aware it was a problem from release but assumed they would have fixed it in the last update. So annoying as one of the previous tides of war challenges was to call in supply drops!

Definitely understandable, it can be somewhat frustrating. 

But, let us know if you experience this same issue after the Update, hopefully it'll be resolved.

....... and still can’t use the bloody binos, no black screen but just can seem to use them. Can select tank reinforcements but every time I try to select anything else it just don’t work!
