Reticle issue

I'm not using aim assist under the advanced control options, and the aim assist was not selected at all. For some reason my reticle still tracks enemies when they cross my LOS. It's a very small amount I admit. 

I just can't shake the feeling though, some cases in a fight it has kept me from getting kill shots to the head. Often I'll empty a mag on either side of there heads, and as its unloading it will pull on its it's own? 

Between my own movements and mistakes, this reticle issue, I don't have much hair left.
