So I rented a server 2x thinking it didnt go through the first time but 2 charges later... still no server. It's for BF 1 on PS4. I get that it's only 4 bux, but c'mon man.
Anyway, cant contact ea as it says ea online unavailable in the help section.
How can I remedy this?

You can contact Support here: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/
If you don't see a Chat Option, try clearing everything in your Web Browser (Cookies, Cache, HIstory, etc), then log in with the Account you're having issues with.

When you contacted Support, did you ask them for a Refund?
Do you have a Case Number by any chance?

No, I was not looking for a refund only to fix the issue whether that be the server, a refund or a resolution of some sort. One said I'd receive a link in a follow up email to address the issue and the other said I would get a call back. Neither happened.

I've had this same problem. On Wednesday I paid in game to rent a server but never got one. Nothing shows up under the your servers tab. I contacted EA help chat and followed a number of their suggestions including making sure my Origin account was linked to my PSN ID which it already was but nothing helped. I sent them the receipt of the payment and asked if they could confirm the payment on their side for the rental but the chat assistant could not even after consulting their specialist/supervisor. They stated they didn't have access to the servers.
