Relationship level stuck

My relationship level is stuck on 9 and won't finish the story. I've done at *least* 6 long hangouts. Please help. Thank you!

@grngrngrass Hi, did you get the chapter event yet? If not, try leaving the sims idle and restart the app couple of times to see if some past events pop up completed (pink check marks). You might have to do it multiple times.
