Reinstalling new launcher, bitraider

★★★ Newbie

I used FixLauncher.exe in my installation folder, and it reverted my launcher to the old one. I found an old reddit post from about a month ago with a link to downloading the new launcher, but I tried downloading it (I put it in a random new folder, not the swtor directory) and it came with Bitraider.

If I do this to change my launcher back to the new one, will it give me the PoS streaming launcher with Bitraider?

Is there any way to change my launcher back to the new one, without installing bitraider?

Hero
Im not aware of a way to diwnload and install he launcher without but raider
I know of how to remove it once yiu have done a regular installation. Install the game normally and then once that is done do the following:

NOTE this is a complete download of the game again

right mouse click on game shortcut and select open file location
open the launcher.settings file in notepad and locate the below line and edit to the below

, "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"SSN\" }"
, "bitraider_disable": true

SAVE the changes.

Delete the BitRaider, Movie and Asset folders then start the launcher.

After this you will have the launched without bitraider.

There is no requirement to install the game fully , once the setup is finished , stop it and edit the client_settings file as below and restart the launcher
