Recovering lost save data on console

Is there any way to get back the data lost from the update?
I can get over losing my wraps I can understand how that information wouldn't be recordable but, the hours logged and money from races won has to be stored server side yeah?  
If not is there a way to manually compensate a given account for lost data so we can at least start from a reasonable place considering the time invested so far 
I have not deleted my save file from the cloud but every time I redownload that data it makes the file go from 95 megs to like 56 so I know at least some of the data is recoverable
