I'm a preferred status account coming back to the game after a couple years to check it out and see if I want to re-sub and play again. When I logged in I found all my characters had been consolidated into a single server (Satele Shan), some requiring reactivation and others requiring a name change. I reactivated the level 70 Sniper I wanted to play and it told me I had to wait while it downloaded the world, no big deal. So I went to delete all the level 1 characters I made but never played and somehow it deleted the level 70 sniper I had just reactivated even though I never told it to delete that one.
I called the support line (1-855-345-2186) but they said they couldn't do anything about character restores and to send an email to [edit: email address removed] with the server, character name, level, and class to have the it restored. So I did and it's been 4 days and I haven't received any replies or open ticket information. I've tried to use the online live chat feature during business hours about a half-dozen times but never connects to anyone, even when it says there's a 0 minute wait time. I can't use the in-game support ticket because I'm not an active subscriber account and I don't yet want to sub until I can mess around a bit to see what there is to do since I left. Is there anything else I can do to get that character restored short of re-subbing?

Response time is running around 7 days at present per this link
I am not sure how swtor cs will respond to this as it is unusual.
