I've updated all drivers/chipsets/BIOS, tried different types of internet connections, running as administrator, and reinstalling. Hell I even did a fresh clean windows install.

Yeah, same here. Still freezing and disconnecting ("Connection time out" error - ea.com/unable-to-connect.") after update. Can you please just release a hotfix for us that we can play normally and we must not wait next week or two for update?

No fix but disabling 5th and 6th cores in bios apparently helps some people. That fix is not for me however so I haven't tried

Yeah, but you can do it also in msconfig. You must choose here to start system with 4 cores and then restart. Temporary solution which works. Hope we will get update soon.
