Push to talk not working

Apex isn't letting me do push to talk or do in game chat at all.

I have messed with the audio settings, changed devices, verified game files a few times, restarted my PC 3 times and switched audio output and even did open mic, but after all of that, it isn't working. I did test the mic and that still works as well and Origin is recognizing the mic but push to talk and open mic isn't working. Sometimes it doesn't let me type either. Please help.
