Ps5 can not send game invite, as game freezes

I can not invite my mates to any games, as when I press invite on my friends list, the whole game freezes, then goes on without sending the invite, any help?

Also having the same issue. Additionally friends cannot invite me. It freezes for them when they try

Deleted and reinstalled and did not fix

Yep  im having the same issue, my friend plays on ps4 and we cannot play together

Edit: found the fix i guess. 

You need to be friends on apex if you are friends on ps then add each other on apex as well. It did fix that way for me.
