Pro Clubs CAM Defensive Positioning

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start Pro Clubs. Enter a match. Set the formation to 4-1-2-1-2. Place the user in the CAM slot. Observe required defensive positioning.
What happens when the bug occurs? The player is always directed to defend the left wing when out of possession, as though playing LM in a 4-4-2.
What should be happening instead? A CAM in a 4-1-2-1-2 should be asked to defend more centrally, between the midfield and the forwards.

In FIFA 19 Pro Clubs, a CAM in a 4-1-2-1-2 is continually tasked with defending the left wing when out of possession, instead of being asked to stay reasonably central between the midfield and the forward line. The attacking positioning appears to be more realistic, but the player continually loses rating for being out of position when out of possession unless he is defending the left wing.

It’s not just clubs either, currently using the same formation in FUT atm, and players are doing the same thing, have the cam playing left wing, seems like I’m playing more of a 4-4-2 than 4-1-2-1-2!

It's also not just 4-1-2-1-2. I've now seen the same with 4-3-1-2.

only on 4312 and 41212narrow from what i played it's this bug
on 4231 and 433 not
but i don't have the time to check all the formations wirth a cam
and it's posible other positions to be broken aswell

It’s also in career mode for CAM, in 4-2-3-1 formation. Irritating because it lowers your rating as out of position because it expects you to be an LM.

I use 3-4-1-2 in FUT and ask my CAM to come back and defend and he does line up as right midfielder (but my right midfielder plays as right back during defensive phase, which is what I asked him to do)… I Always though it was just the instructions I gave them working as I asked them...
