Prediction errors every 20 seconds like clockwork. I ran a pingplotter while playing and marked when I experienced these prediction errors. There was no correlation to be seen, no packet loss at the time of the errors (or any packet loss at all for that matter) after an hour of playing. Just bad prediction on EA servers. What makes me even more pissed off is how EA refuses to acknowledge their problem. It only occurs in Apex. No other FPS I play has lag quite like this. It is a problem with the game code and/or servers. Will this ever get fixed?
PS. I have gone through all of the troubleshooting processes mentioned.
- Restarted my router
- Restarted my Xbox
- Uninstall/reinstalled the game
- Removed/re-added my xbox account
- Used google DNS
- Got a new router
- Talked endlessly with my ISP and had 5 technicians come out to find no packet loss or latency issues
- Ran countless traceroutes which all showed 0 packetloss
- Ran the final test as mentioned above
I am sure I did more troubleshooting but just missed them above.
