Post 4 april 2019 patch - severe frame drop stutters

★ Novice

Got a 8700k at 4.8ghz

2x8gb Ddr4 3700hz

1080ti

Play on low settings at 1440p since release (about 500hours).

Everything on samsung ssd (plenty of space left)

Right after yesterday/todays patch fps has droped from an average of 140fps (minimum fps well over 100) to average 100fps (frequent frame drops to 70 fps).

The perfoverlay.drawgraph shows massive and consistent spikes both on cpu and gpu lines ( no pic atm).

Tried the following so far to no avail (still * fps):

Reset graphic settings and manually changed settings

Deleted profile data in bfv (documents )

Vsync off in game n nvcp

Future frame rendering on (off - fps even lower)

Reinstalled new nvidia drivers - used DDU

Rolled back to older drivers - used DDU

Gsync on Gsync off

Max pre renderd frames on 1 n 3 in NVCP

Renderdevice.renderahradlimit 1 2 3 ingame

Max power settings n nvcp and windows

Single monitor

Closed every thing (chrome, msi afterburner, third party overclock)

Temps are perfect on cpu and gpu

Clock speeds are fine (no throttling)

Shader cache on and off

Page file on and off

Repaired game twice

Origin in game off in bfv properties and origin itself

Windowed mode

Full screen optimisation off

Gamemode off and on

Dvr recording * off

Different monitor different cable hdmi 2 display port differrnt refresh rates

Threaded optimisation on and off in nvcp

No geforce experience installed not streaming not downloading anything in backgroun

What the f did the patch do???? Reinstalling entire game right now.

Any help?

Oh yea also lowersd resolutiom to 720p etc and still get frequent frame drops and spikes. Max fps at 720p was about 140 fps lol.
GPU is maxed out at 99%, CPU is not bottlenecking.
Tried both dx11 n dx12.
Memory is dual channel.
Tried other games like cs go (999 fps) and metro exodus. Did not feel stutter or notice frame drops like i do in bfv. Appears to be bfv only - more testing to be done.

Same issue here. Had no stutter luckily but sever framerate drop.

I usually play on dx11 because dx12 crash a lot. On monitor 3440x1440 i usually got around 90 fps. Today, after the patch, on certain maps i got around 50/60 fps.

Same here.

I had to set graphics to DX11 and High settings to make it somewhat playable.
I have a 2080TI and I9-9900, the game runs from a M2 SSD disk. 16G RAM.
