Possible DXGI Error fix

While I have a 1080 Ti and I know a lot of you with an RTX card have the issues, try the following steps. It solved mine for my 1080 Ti

1) Uninstall drivers using DDU (TL;DR Go into Safe Mode and run DDU with NO INTERNET ENABLED until after you install previous drivers)
2) Install the last drivers released (Go to C:\NVIDIA and look for the previous version installed if you don't remember which was previous)

3) Move GPU to another PCI-E slot

4) Move GPU back to original PCI-E slot

I know it sounds weird, but it's fixed for me now (so far) and I was getting both DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG & DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED via the following games

Insurgency: Sandstorm
Apex Legends

Titanfall 2
BONEWORKS

VRChat

Pavlov

But not

GTA V

Division 2

So, you might as well try this. An EVGA tech actually said the Device Removed error means the GPU is disconnecting for some reason (even though you're not losing full display) so reseating the GPU could fix it, and apparently doing DDU and Reseating the GPU fixed it for me.

If this works for you, let me know
